Navionics + or Platinum +

Postby Rock » Mon Jul 06, 2015 7:15 am

I am considering either getting the Navionics + or going back to the Platinum + that we had before the boat burned down.

Rob I know you said that you bought the + recently and I am imagine others have as well. I am wondering which I should go with or even both if that is the option. I need it to have vancouver island as well as the puget sound.

Hey Rock,
I am really a fan of the Navionics + chip and one of my favorite features is the SonarCharts cartography. The detail is simply amazing!

Here is a screenshot of Possession Bar on a regular Navionics chart

I've put a PowerPoint together with some very interesting and descriptive charting info and I'm presenting it in a webinar that you can access at home on Tuesday 7/14 at 6:00pm

Here's a link to register and I hope you can join us!

Nelly,

Thanks for your response. I am at the final hour here as I leave for Nootka Sound tomorrow.

Those screenshots look dope with the SonarCharts! I did sign up for the Webinar though I will be on the water in Nootka when you actually do it. but I think that when I signed up like a week ago they said they would send the recording afterwards. So, I am looking forward to watching it when I get back.

Looks like I have a quick decision to make.

Don't sweat it if you can't catch this webinar live as Navionics makes it available from their Webinar Schedule page here:
http://www.navionics.com/en/webinar/webinar-schedule

The advantage to catching the webinar live is the ability to interact and ask questions but you can always ping me here on the Forums as well cheers

Thanks. I just looked and they haven't posted it yet. Hopefully they will soon. Back at work and want to use my lunchtime to watch it sometime this week.
