Fishing Area Question

My Dad and I have our boat moored at Edmonds. We fish mainly 8-2, 9 and 10 exclusively. We are considering moving the boat to Anacortes and fish area 7. Mainly because of the closures and restrictions on 9 and 10 lately. Any thoughts?

It appears to me that you could also fish area 8-1 easily from Anacortes. Just a thought that I had in case weather, tides, closure, situation, etc. It is not too much of a run from Anacortes to the northern areas of area 9 either. Good luck with your decision.
