LOL...that was pretty much it. I happened so fast I just reacted. Passed up one the day before that was roughly the same size and missed a bigger one in the monsoon the same day. Freestanding head shot at 130 yards...no bueno

All done with the local stuff now and my pregnant wife can't be happier

Had my chances over there Jim but never could pull the trigger. Just needed one more second to bag a true masher muley...but that's the way she goes. Hopefully you guys filled some tags in your area

Yep, we pulled 2 out of our spot this year. I made it last a few days this season by getting one on Monday evening, instead of opening morning and a 30 minute hunt
