Congrats! Enjoy the fresh morsels!! For some reason that thing looks a lot bigger than I think it really is, what say you?

Nice buck Robbo............ do not eat the meat though as it will ruin your taste for those bucks down south. Really curious to hear how the 7mm-08 preformed, did you use the Barnes ammo in it? We have been wanting to go to a lighter rifle, but have been concerned about the meat loss with the lighter bullets and higher velocity. Smoking hot looking rifle posting.php?mode=reply&f=3&t=2416# but how do you find it when you set it down with that great camo job?

It's a forky Bucket ;)

Dangit I wish we would have gotten your email today Gary as I definitely would have taken you up on your generous offer. We had a great time catching coho in the river today but the hunting was tough with the weather.

Very little meat damage on the deer yesterday Gary. I got a decent shot on this deer but it still went about 50 yards into the jungle before it dropped though. I was a little behind the vitals on the shot placement so no surprise there I guess. I'm shooting Federal Barnes X in 140 grain. Lovin the gun so far. Nice and light and buddies have shot a crapload of deer with 7mm 08's up here.
