Salmon Fishing from a Single Seat Pontoon Boat Puget Sound

Has anyone ever heard or seen a single seat pontoon boat setup for salmon fishing in Puget Sound? I am without a real boat but do have a couple fly-fishing pontoon boats that I used for freshwater. I know there people have been successful in kayaks, but has anyone seen one of these pontoon crafts out among the saltwater? I would be looking to mooch as well as toss a fly.

I've seen folks us pontoon boats in the sound, so it is definitely possible.
I've seen it most often during pink years in areas with little to no current.
That being said, I wouldn't really recommend it.
If you decide to do it, really watch the current and weather conditions, especially the wind. Freighter s are another thing to be aware of.
If you decide to do this, make sure to really rinse your toon or the frame will look like a rust bucket in a short amount of time and always wear a pfd.
A kayak is a much better craft for doing what you want to do in my opinion. Even that has it's risks. I saw a guy nearly drown last year when he flipped his kayak.
You can catch plenty of fish tossing herring or flies off the beaches without putting yourself at risk.
