Tokul Creek Hatchery

Wow, someone broke into the Tokul Creek fish hatchery and released 25,000 steelhead smolts!

I guess someone does not agree with the new regulation of no steelhead smolts to go into the Snoqualmie River spy spy spy

Here's a link to the story:

To think that we've reached a place where releasing steelhead smolts into a river is now considered a "criminal" act... bangheadwall

I wish they would have released all of them

Sad time when some have to take things into their own hands. Crazy thing for once all fishermen agreed on this subject! http://www.thenewstribune.com/2014/05/04/3178942/conservation-angling-community.html And now they are going to waste resources to hire private security, just put up some cameras and call it good! Don't waste any more resources! It seems so simple to me protect the habitat, protect them from predators, and protect their feeding sources.

I wonder if they are even looking for the culprit(s)? They would have a tough time finding a jury to convict them. The people filing the lawsuits can just choke on it.

What we need is to get the sports, commercial and tribal interests all under one tent to combat these lawsuits. I fear it won't happen until after they go after the salmon hatcheries. I hear rumors but nothing solid so far.
