This morning, 11 Jan 14, I joined your show an hour late. You folks spoke of a "Red Pamplet".
What is that? Also you referred to an "App for Puget Sound Currents", where do I get that or what is the actual name for it?

Welcome aboard P77,
I've always enjoyed your informative posts and links on other boards.
You didn't join the show an hour late, we had to go on one hour early because of the Seahawks game.

After Sgt. Phillips interview, I recommended that folks pick up a "reg" pamphlet as in the WDFW Regulation pamphlet. There's a ton of information in there and it's simply impossible to memorize it all.

I also mentioned that you can "reverse engineer" some of the regulations and spot opportunities between the lines. For instance, we all know that "opening days" are often very productive but the last days that an area is open can be excellent as well.

The tide & current info I mentioned is available on an app for your smartphone and it's called Navionics US West. It turns your phone into a chartplotter and it's the best single fishing app that I've ever seen! cheers
