San Juan Island Blackmouth!

Postby Nelly » Mon Dec 30, 2013 6:00 pm

I had to check out the reports of smokin' winter chinook action for myself and brothers... I wasn't dissapointed!

Jeff Pahukoa and I hoist the hatchery fish we managed to get away from the harbor seals and we also released several wild fish as well. thumbup

Our action came on whole herring as well as Coho Killers 38" behind a red stripe flasher. Thatcher Pass, Eagle Bluff and Obstruction Pass all reported fish as well as a few spots bordering Presidents Channel spy

Get out there gang! This is as good as I've ever seen winter blackmouth fishing...EVER! cheers

Was on my way to anacourtes and had a blow out on the trailer. Got the spare swapped out but decided to get new tires going instead of chancing it. Will hit jeffhead tomorrow before back to work....

Sounds like great white is getting broke in. Bent rods and bloody decks. Ya gotta love it!
