With the weather so nice and the great fishing reports eating away at me, I made a last minute decision to fish and went solo today. First started at the very foggy West Point and Shilshole.
Seemed to be a decent amount fish on the electronics just south of the West Point buoy and just north of Meadow Point, but no takers (first tried a red racer flasher with purple haze UV squid then a Green Spatter Back Coho Killer).
With the wind picking up, ripped over to just south of Point Jefferson in the middle of the shipping lanes and caught these two fish within 5 minutes in just over 100 feet of water at 10 am. Amazing how quick things can turn.
With the favorable Seiku reports, keeping the fingers crossed the coho fishing stays hot.
