Goin' out into a forecast of thunderstorms is never my favored scenario...

But, on the tail end of a pink-lined Labor Day weekend, I had to give the coho a go! There were reports of smokin' silver salmon action on the west side of Possession Bar so after giving that a go and pulling a blank, We headed over to the Shipwreck and... well,...you guessed it..

Bob Maschmedt dropped the hammer on this chunky hooknose that blew off the rigger and blasted to the surface before we could grab the rod!

710 ESPN Seattle's Michael Grey came along and enjoyed some early September action as well!

Once this weather settles down, there is going to be some serious salmon action, both fresh and salt!

Dang it, we saw you come and go and all we had was 1 humpy. Started out of Edmonds got "grassed" out and had 2 choices West bar or shipwreck, chose west bar got zilch and wish I'd followed you over. Here's what we got for our efforts at PoBar. Well it was a picture of a double rainbow but it said the file was too big. Just can't figure out how to post pics with such a limited file size.
