MA-9 Kings

Postby MR.G » Mon Jul 22, 2013 12:25 pm

My good friend BT and I fished hard Friday and Saturday near Midchannel. We went 3 for 4 trolling down hill with that big flood. All of our take downs were at almost exactly the same waypoint. It's like said, if you get a hook up... pull your gear up, hit that same spot again and you may be rewarded. A coho killer tricked a 14#er and the 18 and 19#er smacked a gold star hootchie trolled very close to the bottom. It was fun to watch the moochers slay kings at Point Wilson early Saturday in the fog... classic NW fishing! I saw first hand as a rookie how much it may have paid off being ready to switch techniques to go after those schooled up chinook. These kings cut like sockeye... nice dark orange meat. drool Garret
