Spoon Bite So Far

Postby Robbo » Thu Jun 06, 2013 5:12 pm

After switching thru a few different combinations of gear here in Craig we figured out that they want a small presentation which means spoons and needlefish hoochies. We haven't had a single hit on a choked herring, which is usually money, and everything has fallen to Coyote spoons, coho killers, and a good old fashioned green splatterback needlefish behind a purple haze Q Cove flasher.

Here's Stam with a fatty that hit a Cop Car Coyote this morning.

The fish only seem to be in a couple of spots and there hasn't been any rhyme or reason to the bite. Yesterday we hit'em on low slack and today they bit on high slack...that's a long time to wait. It was pretty fast and furious for a while this afternoon when it happened though thumbup
