Birdsview Brewery What: We will be holding our 2nd Annual Wounded Warriors in Action Salmon Barbecue Fundraising Event. The Concrete Lions Club will once again be grilling up some delicious Salmon, generously donated to us by the Swinomish Tribe. Accompanied by some delicious homemade side dishes and of course lots of yummy baked goods. This year’s event is guaranteed to make you want to put it on next year’s calendar!
We will have live music, raffles, door prizes, a silent auction, a live auction and of course all of this is happening at the family owned and operated Birdsview Brewery where they have 10 different beers (made on premise) on tap for your drinking pleasure.
Raffle drawings followed by the Live Auction will begin at 7pm. Please see our event page on Facebook for more information on what will be up for grabs and keep up to date on what is happening with the event.
2nd Annual Wounded Warriors In Action Salmon Barbeque A Little about the Organization: This foundation is a 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit Charity that serves our Nation’s combat wounded Purple Heart recipients by providing world-class outdoor sporting activities as a means to recognize and honor their sacrifice, encourage independence and connections with communities, and promote healing and wellness through camaraderie and a shared passion for the outdoors. www.wwiaf.org A Little about the organizers: John and Corrina Koenig are the Owner/Operator’s of John’s Guide Service, a fishing and hunting guide service based in Rockport, Washington. We see the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation as an opportunity for us to give back to those who give their all for us. We will be hosting 3 events this year, each time we will be hosting (4) four Combat Wounded, Purple Heart recipients from all over the country.
