Jefferson Head Blackmouth

Postby Saharit » Sat Jan 05, 2013 4:59 pm

We fished Jeff Head from daybreak until noon today. Lots of hook ups mostly 80-120 feet on a Red Racer spoon and flasher. Many shakers. A few keepers. Unfortunately, it was like feed time at the zoo for the pinnipeds!

I think that's only a "half-punch" on your catch record card...

Bummer dude, At least you got the better half :?

The seals have been extra hungry this year!! We ended area 9 season out on possession, had 6 hook ups, all were eaten by seals. The last fish we got to the boat was a nice native, I pulled the hook and we watched a seal eat it 3 seconds later. CRAZY!!

At least it's clipped rofl rofl

Seriously, the seals are out of control out there. Very frustrating!!
