Damn. That Derek Floyd is a baller. Where did all the fish come from? That was a dirty south wind this weekend. I imagine the bar was a washing machine. To rough for my boat. I hid in skunk bay and did terrible.

That's a great question!
All I know is that they were there from the get-go!
Opening morning (November 1) was epic. I fished Possession on Friday the 2nd and had a great day but nothing big.
In the past five years, most -if not all- of the winning fish in the Bayside Derby have come from Area 8 so that's where we spend our time.
Unfortunately we struck out... I had to move the boat yesterday and what did I see all over A8?
Gillnets.... I wonder if that had something to do with the lack of large blackmouth inside???
