Some A9 Nookies

Postby Brandon » Fri Jul 20, 2012 2:51 pm

Fishin has been pretty dang solid for everyone ive seen. We have been runnin coho killers and ace hi needle fish on the bottom and wackin em. Weve had double headers, a handfull of your typical cookie cutter fish and a few pigs. Seems like everyday i see a couple more big fish landed. Heres a couple pics.

This dude dont know it yet but I wrapped a fish around his cable. Only down fall this year is there has been a massive amount of boats out. Looks like a scene from jaws where everybody is hookin everybody and cuttin people off. Lots of people screamin at eachother to. Especially for a weekday, I cant even fathom what tomorrow will look like.

Kinda got tired of fishin the mornings cause of the bazilion boats. So we tried the evening. And in my mind it was just as good if not better. Also warmer out too!

that be a tapeworm sir. the meat's fine, their contained to the stomach. a few of the kings we caught in alaska this year had 'em. the fish cleaner was telling me about them. i guess it's pretty much just kings that get them.
