Tranquility on the Salmon River

Postby Robbo » Sun Jan 30, 2011 7:23 pm

Bucket and I stayed at Quinault Beach Resort and Casino last night in Ocean Shores so we could hit the Salmon River today with Jordan Curley. Fishing was a little on the slow side, but we were the only ones on the river and the weather was awfully nice :!: :!:

Here's the latest blog for your viewing enjoyment 8-)

And the best photo from the trip. Great job Bucket...your hired brother

I've heard of cutting the anglers head off in a picture before...
But cutting the fishes head off too???
Looks like you had almost as good of an outing as I had in the Steelhead River at the Puyallup Sportsman's Show!

Pretty fun day with Bucket. I just wish Bucket's float would've gone down a little more than it did...like at all :? :? :?

Sounds like the bite was pretty good in the steelhead pond at the show again today. Black jigs again...or did you have to get sneaky on'em :D :D

Wonderfull trip, man it felt good to get back on a river. In my own defense, that photo was taken by mistake with a camera I knew nothing about. Not that I know much about any camera. Who wanted ta see Robbo's ugly mug anyway? I DO highly recommend fishing this river and with Jordan. As Robbo has said "he a cool kid". Thanks for including me Robbo!

Great point Bucket, I wasn't thinking that you were just trying to spare us from seeing Robbo's mug.
