American Lake gave up one today for the kids

Postby Wylie Dog » Fri Apr 13, 2012 5:06 pm

My granddaughter, my buddy & his son and I fished American Lake from 9am -1:30pm today. It started out nice with calm water and no wind to getting blown around by the afternoon. We hooked our first fish at about 11am, a nice 14" kokanee, on a pink mini squid behind a 50/50 4/0 dodger on the down rigger set at 20'. That was the only take down of the day, found many schools of fish but no takers. Otherwise it was an awsome day to spend with the kids fishing.
