Saturday Christian weighed in a 5.1 oz Salmon at close of the Derby!

Dusty Rowland of Clyde Hill, WA won the 2013 Roche Harbor Invitational Boat Entry drawing, sponsored by Roche Harbor Resort. Dusty becomes boat #1 for next years event scheduled for February 7-9, 2013.


Brian Dennis of Lake Tapps, WA. Boat #34 weighed in the first fish of the derby on Friday @ 2pm. This fine specimen weighed 16.2 and slipped to the second place $4000 cash prize.

The $10,000 1st Place cash prize went to Jason King of Bellingham, WA with this 16.6 pound dandy. No wonder he's smiling!

That Derek Floyd must be one bad cat to come away with total boat weight the last 2 years in a row. Thats a pretty legit derby with some hardcore dudes from what I hear.

Derek is a very passionate, talented angler who makes his living running Reel Class Charters up in Sitka, Alaska.
He is a real class act and gets a lot of practice up there but one of the reasons he is so consistently successful is that he always is observing and learning.
