Here's a few teasers...more to come soon!

Drove 15 or so hours, arrived at our cabin at 8:30am, were on the river by 9am...and I happen upon this guy at about 9:15am...not more than a dozen or 15 casts into the trip!

Image

They weren't all bucks...some were nice hens, too!

Image

Sometimes even it was hens and bucks at the same time ;)

Image

Did I mention something about big fish being around this year?

Image

Added bonus of fabulous fishing and fantastic weather was the amount of black bears around...saw three in one day, and saw three of them over the week from the porch of our cabin!

Fish on...

I will say...you look much more Republican without the goe-tee

Knowing all you guys were up there has been killing me the last couple of weeks. Can't wait to have a beer and get the scoop on the steelhead trip of a lifetime.

Did you run into Stamsticle up there? He left a couple weeks ago and said he wasn't sure if or when he'd be back. As long as he makes it back for elk hunting in a couple weeks. LOL :!:

I can't believe Todd can't tell the difference between a Buck from a Hen. Hopefully he can tell the difference when he's out at the bar......

Ryley... ;)

Rob, we had Stam around for a day and a half or so, then he and Coley lit out for the Copper...wasn't back by the time we had left.

Glad you boys did good on the "last day" river! The one I waited on the whole two weeks. Kidding. Lotsa fun guys. Stamula was good company especially with his cabin gifts! :D Goooooooood times all around. Looking back, I don't know how it went so fast. It feels like a dream now. I want to go back! ;)

Wow pretty fricken cool. Is there much pressure on those rivers? Is it common to go the whole day without seeing anybody? Hey Cobble Cruiser I liked your article in STS. Good stuff man.

Old school with the Okie Drifter...

One of three caught in half an hour by walking across the road from our cabin...

Ryley with an awfully nice one...

This one was a little camera shy...

I think this one was ready to go back home, too!

Brandon...it depends.

Due to lots of rain in the week previous, there was only one river fishing for several days, so it was pretty crowded in the popular spots...if you were drifting, you could go hours without seeing another angler, and like anywhere else, if you're willing to walk more than 100 feet from your rig, you can get away from all the people.

Most anywhere there is a decent hole that is within sight of the road, there will be a car or two there and a guy or two in it.

Fish on...
