Pre-Fishing Report ;)

Postby Todd » Wed Sep 28, 2011 10:28 am

There are 50 weeks that go by very slowly...followed by two weeks that fly by.

The 50 slow weeks end today...the two weeks that fly by start tomorrow.

Off to northern BC for the steelhead smackdown...hopefully the rivers will be in shape enough days to keep me busy, and I won't get bear pawed, cougar bit, or moose stomped.

I'm...outta here!

It was pretty awesome...even better than last year.

The amount of 40" and longer fish this year was pretty damned impressive...getting to hold a lot of them in my bare hands was a treat!

Pics soon, I'm sure.

Go to back of the line, buddy :)

Last year we showed up just as the drought ended and racked 'em up...this year we showed up the day that one of the area rivers dropped into fishable shape, the rest came online over the following several days, and it just got better the entire time we were there, and we really, really racked 'em up.

Talk about lucking into perfect conditions two years in a row!
