Area 9 Kings

Thought id throw some pics up from the last week. Im gettin into fish every trip but there's not much as far as consistency goes. One day i might get 3-4 hook ups and the next day 1. I have noticed the clipped ratio has gone up. But the size has gone down a little. Im not nearly hookin as many nates as I was that first week. Ive bounced around between Pilot, No Point, Kingston, Poss Bar, and Mid Channel. None really seems any better then the other. Find the bait and find fish. Ive mainly been using QCove's with spoons and hootchies. Fishin the bottom anywhere from 90-220ft.

Great work Brandon and what an informative post!

I especially liked the Lowrance all lit up with salmon and bait! That is about as good as it gets!

While I see what you mean with the clip rate, size and consistency to this fishery, I believe that targeting chinook through August in MA's 9 & 10 will still be a viable and productive option.

Thanks again for the great post and keep up the good work!
