Fished the Pt No Pt area over the weekend and got my butt kicked. Saturday I didnt touch a thing for 8 hours. Sunday I released a nice lookin nate and that was it!! Got this one today up in Port Townsend. I was marking bait really deep. I was fishin anywhere from 190-220ft of water and my gear was on the bottom. This fish hit on a breakaway with a white hootchie. A little over a month left....I think I need to go fish more.

Good looking king Tobeck got there Brandon!
Especially nice work considering the building weather out there at the time.
I really feel that we have not seen the bulk of our hatchery chinook and we are going to have to weed through the pinks to get them!

What the...? Does anyone ever know what Nelly is talking about?

Congrats on finally putting a keeper on the boat, it's been tough but I agree that we are going to be wading through pinks to get them. After talking to Robbo yesterday he fells they are going to be late because they are still catching lot's of kings in Craig and normally they have moved on for the most part by this time. Up and down the coast they are whacking the kings, we will get ours.

Haha I was trying to think of a reply but I couldnt for that. Ya its been tough for sure. Up to this point ive landed 16 native chinook and only 5 clipped chinook. All really nice fish though.

I was just testing to see if Tobeck actually reads a Puget Sound report thread.

He spends most of his time looking for that tuna window to open...
