Should I fish possession bar for Chinook’s or go to Baker Lake for Sockeye’s this weekend. The crystal ball says?

Baker Lake right after you listen to our segment with Ryan Bennett on Saturday morning. There are some chinook being caught on the sound right now but from most reports that I have from this past week I think Baker might be your best bet. Whatever you decide, let us know how it goes.

Last year some were caught just above the dam, but most were caught on the upper end of the lake near where all the creeks come in.
Either way you should see many boats trolling. Also the best bite was at first light, so you will want to get an early start.

If your lookin to bring home meat id do the baker lake thing. Theres definitely fish around in area 9, alot of nates. Ive hooked more native fish this year then all of lastyear combined!!! But if u get a hatchery fish they are big for sure!!! Yesterday I had 5 fish and all were nates. Some real line screamers though. It was still fun.
