Great idea Ray!
Tobeck and I will be dropping pots Friday afternoon hopefully with fresh chinook backbones from the San Juan opener.
As far as crabbing tips go, concentrate on fresh bait and adequate depth without great slope. In other words, sandy flats.
I think people fish too shallow. Keep 100 feet of rope on your pots. Fish them at 75 or 80 with leaded line and your fine.
Frozen turkey legs and ground herring will attract a limit but know your regulations!
The recreational crab fleet will be watched as never before!
Don't become an enforcement statistic!
