Panama Report-Pic Heavy!!!

Paradise Lodge-Chiriqui Province, Panama
The season has continued to be beautiful down here in panama, there still has been very little rain and the seas have been very calm. Same as May 2010, the Yellowfin Tuna have been everywhere, and this week many over 200# were hooked..some caught..some got away!.Many of the fish are in the 80 to 100# range. Our popper crazy friends colin and john were here this week and got spooled several times on huge tuna..they found lots of rooster fish and snapper fishing around the islands. Our friend Johnny caught a nice Tarpon, along with plenty of other fish, fishing around coiba. We also caught several nice wahoo caught on poppers this last week, along with a few marlin and sail fish. Paul was back out with capt. chicho this week and as always have a fantastic trip. Next year is filling up fast, so make sure you make reservations if your interested in coming down in 2012.

I know the area well enough to get the job done. We can either hook up with one of the guys down there or maybe charter a sportfisher out of Panama City and run up the coast to the holy waters. 7 days at Coiba, Montousa, Jicaron...holy crap dude!
