Ebey Island Dike breeching

There's really no debate that more wetlands = more salmon and steelhead.

The question is wether or not our "quacker-whacker" bretheren will mount resistance to the breeching of the dikes along the lower Snohomish River.

By the way...I'm a duck hunter too and have hunted the tidelands my whole life. This looks like a great thing for fish and waterfowl, not to mention waterfowlers!

We're working on getting one of the lead bio's from this project on the show next weekend. Pretty exciting project that will be good for both the fish and the quackers :D
