Help with Lowrance HDS Gen 2 Chart

Hi All,

I am hoping somebody can help me out with my HDS Gen 2 Chart. As I am planning to fish Barley Sound this year, I scrolled up to that area on the chart and there are several areas that appear to not have coverage. I took a screen shot and have hopefully attached that here. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong. I checked the Lowrance web site and that shows that the Nautic insight chip should have coverage for the west coast of Vancouver island. Do I need a different chip?

Any help will be appreciated

I is interesting I better check mine since I'm planning the same thing. I bet Nelly will know.

Hey TW,
What you're going to need is a Navionics 2XG Canada chip.
Unfortunately, some of the built-in Lowrance cartography has reduced detail in some Canadian waters.
Just to be on the safe side, get the chip!!!

Thanks Nelly, Navionics chip is ordered hope that takes care of the problem. Glad I decided to take look, would have been a bad day to get there and find out I was fishing blind!
