It's been a while since we've tried our luck on Lake Washington. With this odd yet nice weather we've been experiencing, the fish and bait have been staying deep. We put in our time today on the west side of Mercer Island. My buddy worked the bottom with a bottom walker and spinner for bass and I worked the top 25 feet of water pulling a Needlefish spoon tipped with a worm. I picked up two fish but it wasn't until the end of the day. Both were in 50/60 feet of water. The first was only 16" and the later was about 20". Several small kokanee were breaking the water out deep while we were out there.
