I can't tell you right now..... For what I'm going it's not fun, not due to the fun I'm having wiring and making things look pretty , but the fact the way may boat was built...... And the rain doesn't help either.
Ok I have run into a problem. My touch 7 is reading its internal gps ant instead of the ext ant I installed. The external is running thru the Nema 2000 and it seems to not be connecting with the unit..so do I need to somehow turn off the internal unit so the external unit will work? Or do I need to run it thru the sonar hub?
Hey SH, Make sure you have used the correct N2K architecture and there is power going directly into the network. There may be an advanced menu setting to share info over the network but to my knowledge, you cannot shut off the internal antennae. Once the N2K network is assembled correctly and powered up, the unit should recognize and connect to it. Good luck!

Well I'm using 3 T's and 2 end caps....... End cap then, 1st T is heading to the unit, 2nd is the gps 1 and the 3rd or last T is the power then an end cap.
Well I did figure the problem, my brand new GPS-1 ant was defective. After talking with tech support and finding that both my units and sonar hub needed updating and a bunch of other stuff it came down to the ant....... Fun fun
That "pain" will lead to a huge "gain" for you! First off, if you ever have an issue, you'll immediately know where to start looking and secondly since you've put your system through its paces, you've got a leg up on operational skills as well! Good work!!!
