Postby PAINKILLER » Mon May 05, 2014 9:17 am

Hey guys new to the site and we love the show my brother and I run the boat called painkiller. A good friend of ours put this halibut video together for us these are all Puget Sound Halibut caught in the last two seasons. there's some photos at the end of the video to show the size of the fish. I feel it's time to start sharing some reports here because I listen to show every week. thanks a lot guys and will have some reports come hopefully the video will get you pumped for the opener

All due respect, not necessary to harpoon 20-40 pound halibut. Reel to the surface, drop a gaff below their gut sack, and lift up and flop them into the boat into an open cooler brown skin side down. Slit gills with a knife, you're done with much less drama.
