The "Throwin' Samoan" gets Great White's first fish!

Postby Nelly » Sun Dec 08, 2013 2:10 pm

It was very gratifying to be able to finally take the new Weldcraft "Great White" fishing in the Resurrection Derby in the San Juans.

It was even more thrilling to be able to share the experience with Jack "Throwin' Samoan" Thompson who, despite the frigid weather, caught the first fish...and first limit..of chinook aboard Great White!

The go-to gear was Silver Horde Coho Killers sweetened with Pro-Cure Shrimp & Krill Oil

We also let three fish go that were just under 22 inches and I'm very happy to be able to report that the first day aboard the new boat was productive! cheers
