Launched from Kingston yesterday morning deciding to troll the flood down to Jeff's Head & back. Worked a variety of plugs but not a single bump. Switched to spoons & Grandslam Bucktail Fly's and started to pickup 20-21 inch blackmouth with this 24" clipped Chinook hitting down off of Presidents Point.
The bait found in the gut are of the Green Label Size!

Way to match the hatch Rich!
I like your early choice of plugs and the salty, aggressive move to flasher gear when you didn't get bit.
Assuming you were fishin one rod yesterday, it's a safe bet that the shakers were not going to whack that big 'ol plug.
If I'm fishin two rods, a flasher will always be in the water.
Flashers are proven fish attractors and will even increase looks at a plug fished at a similar depth on your boats other downrigger! thumbup
