Westport Trip!

Postby Captain Morgan » Wed Jul 03, 2013 8:02 pm

Made it out to Westport with the usual suspects. Water was bumpy and the temperature was 64 degrees! ( Water Temp that is )!!!
In general, that is NOT a good sign for our salmon.
But great news for all the Tuna Boys and Girls.

So we traveled further north and West then the fleet in hopes of finding a noticable change in the water temp.
It seamed to pay off as we still had to work for them, but had our daily limits each day by lunch.
Our Q-Cove Flashers and Silver Horde Spoons did all real the work!

Looking forward to getting back out again next week! Keep your eye on them water temps, it may be time to start loading Tuna gear shortly!
