Fidalgo/San Juan Island Chapter Meeting

Reminder for tomorrow night's meeting (Tuesday the 19th) at 6:30 PM -- Village Pizza, Anacortes.

This month's guest speaker is Capt. Derek Floyd. Derek gave an informative talk last year, as he described his tips and techniques down to the fine details of his choice in gear, leader lengths, etc, etc, etc.

This talk will be different, as Derek will discuss underwater topography, and his theory as to how salmon/bait relate to structure during different periods of the tide. He'll also talk about using the data from your sounder and chartplotter as a means of putting together the puzzle.

Unless you were at LFS several months back and saw Derek's presentation, there'll be some stuff shown that you've probably never seen before ... like some screen shots of self-mapping bottom renderings from 3d software that'll amaze you.
