Wounded Warriors

Postby Robbo » Mon Apr 30, 2012 7:18 pm

Last weekend we had the opportunity to donate some of our "Long Live the King" signature Outdoor Line shirts to a group of Wounded Warriors fishing on American Lake with Kokanee Kid, Kokanee Dominator, and Eenakok to name a few.

A huge THANK YOU to all of you that donated your time, boats, and fishing knowledge to help these folks out. You guys and gals should all be proud of yourselves thumbup

Here's a few pics from the day on the water

The next opportunity to get involved in an event like this is with John Koenig of John's Guide Service. John is hosting a guided king salmon fishing trip on the Skagit in June and a guided bear hunting trip in August for the Wounded Warriors in Action. He is in need of volunteers and donations to make the event a success. You can bet the Outdoor Line will be helping John with this one also. Here's a link to his website for more information:

It was an honor for us to be part of that AWESOME day! Our guest had no idea what a kokanee was, and that is ok. He fought several kokes like a champ! And after the koke's went off the bite Eenakok called me and let us know he found a HOT trout bite. We asked our guest and he said "lets go"! Those trout did not have a chance :D

Our Wounded Warrior shared with us some of what he did and his injury's. My family and I are so grateful for men and women like him! They serve our Country so we can be free and fish where and where we want. This was not about the Dominator and myself, it was all about us taking a Veteran out catching. And that he did thumbup

Sorry I am so late to the show, It was a blast taking out the Wounded Warriors! We were able to catch a couple of Kokanee and a TON of trout! Thank you VERY much for providing the shirts, everyone was very happy to receive them!

I will be involved with this program again!
