Port of Everett Crabbing

Just amazing crabbing is available right now out of the Port Of Everett. I've even seen folks catching them from the public dock just south of the 10th Street boat ramp.

Our first pull produced over 10 keepers and some of them were over 7" across the back!

Dinner? The first crab feed of the season is always a special event and big crab full of meat is even more spectacular!

The majority of Puget Sound opened for crabbing on the first of July and by all reports, crabbing was not just good but excellent! Marine Areas 8-1 Saratoga Passage, 8-2 The Port of Everett and Area 9 Admiralty Inlet all produced near limit crabbing. It’s not just the numbers but the size and condition of the Dungeness that is surprising with several very large crab in the catch. Try setting your gear in 75 to 100 feet of water with extra weight in the pots and extra floats to distinguish your gear. Make sure you legibly mark your pots and mark your crab record card as soon as you take possession of them or you may become WDFW’s catch!
