Puget Sound Pinks!

Postby Nelly » Sat Aug 08, 2015 4:50 pm

I'm a little late to the party on the pinks but we are heading out of the Port of Everett and brother, let me tell you... THEY ARE HERE!!!

We didn't hit the water until 10am and by noon we had hooked 14 and put 10 in the box. Mike McGrath of Wayne Sharp Construction and his daughter hold the pile of pinks!

The aforementioned "pile of pinks" were just south of Humpy Hollow between the Shipwreck and Possession Point.

This fishery should hold up through the month or until it rains....Whichever comes first cheers

710 ESPN Seattle's Brock and Salk show is on from 7-10am and they are broadcasting from the VMAC in Renton during Seahawks Training Camp.

So, when Brock told me that he had a couple friends in town and they were going to try to make it to the boat by NOON

I'm an early morning fisherman and was really hoping' the humpies were going to be in a biting mood in the afternoon outahere

We started at the Shipwreck and had a couple of bites but it wasn't all that... So we headed for the east side of Possession Bar and GAME ON!

We stopped on the east side of Possession when we saw birds and jumpers. Here's a Navionics shot and "X" marks the spot!

The pinks are in early and thick. I believe the peak of the run is still ahead of us and this season is shaping up to be one for the books!
