Gig Harbor Puget Sound Anglers Salmon Derby 2012

“One of the Biggest in the Northwest Salmon Derby Series”

GIG HARBOR , WA – August - 11, 2012 marks the seventeenth Annual Gig Harbor PSA Salmon fishing extravaganza. Our Derby is Centerally located and it attracts anglers from all over the Northwest. With roughly $25,000 dollars in cash & prizes this event brings out fishermen from all walks of life to fish our south sound fishery.
Cash Prizes include $2500 First Place; $15,00 Second Place; $1000 Third Place; $750 Fourth Place and choice of Merchandise fro 5th – 20th, there is also ladies largest Fish prize of $250 in cash and 1st through 4th prizes for youth Boys and Girls.
Merchandise that is drawn as prizes are from the Northwest’s favorite fishing tackle and accessory companies ie. Titus-Will Ford, Columbia Bank, Cabelas; Sportco, Outdoor Emporium, ; Lamiglas; Lowrance; Dick Nite & Berkely.
In addition, each Angler qualifies for the grand prize drawing: A top of the line Sport Fishing package from Van Wormer Resorts and a trip for two Canadian Princess Resorts donated from Oak Bay Marine group.

I spoke with the Gig Harbor chairman a few days ago but did not ask where tickets are sold. I would imagine they are sold in the same manner as our South Sound Derby tickets....sold at Wholesale Sports, Sportco, Cabela's etc.
