Postby Nelly » Thu Jan 20, 2011 7:45 pm

Well, I finally made it out on good ol' A9 and found a new way to make 'em bite!
Check out the whole story at Hookin' up on the Hoochie Hook!
Good luck out there!

The water color was the same down in the Manchester Area! No action for the faithful plugs or spoons for me but nice day none the less.
Great article as usual.

:D Thanks for inviting our post on here ;)
We have been using the spoon hoochie hook up the past few trips out in the bay and are liking the setup.
I will be doing Seminars at the Seattle Boat Show on fishing north Puget Sound which will include slides displaying how to rig the spoon hoochie hook up.

I agree with Gary's results.....we have been testing the "tailwaggers" since late October. Very good pattern so far. They do tend to have a unique "swim" to them. Just another piece of ammo for those "SPRINGERS" ! Getting excited Tom ??? I am dreaming Mid-Channel..............

I was out at Thatcher Pass on Wed. I hooked up on a nice fish with the cop car "spoochie" / tailwagger.
I got busy telling the wife how to run the boat and lost the fish. When will I learn to keep my mouth shut and just fish.
Nothing hit the irish cream or white/candlefish combo.
My wife had two takedowns on a white atomic plug but she missed both of them.
