Question for Salmonhawk??

Postby Eddy C » Thu Sep 22, 2011 5:12 pm

Robbie please discribe what our tuna fight like.
I have only been tuna fishing once out of Westport.
I remember them swimming in circles. Another person says they rip straight down.
Please settle this.

They start with a long run and then dive. Once you get them near the boat they do that circle thing until greeted with a gaff.

Congrats, you're both right!

Albacore. So easy a caveman can do it
Never seen chinooks bite the bubbles of sprayed water via the washdown pump while their schooling buddies are getting free-gaffed. Dumb friggen fish the albies are.
