Lake Washington Chinook

Hey Nelly,
I keep seeing articles in the news about the back nine of the Wayne golf course potentially being developed by a group led by Bothell's mayor, but looks like a conservation group may be able to get the land away from the developers. With Lake Washington Chinook being the driver behind all of the closures to Marine areas 9 and 10 I am wondering why I am not hearing more about this in fishing circles. It seems to reason that if the conservation group does not end up with the land and it gets developed the Sport and Tribal fishermen both lose a huge chance at restoring habitat for the salmon and the lake. I would love to hear more about the true impact this area could have on Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish salmon.
