Brads cut plug

I picked up some Brad's super baits, similar to the cut plug, I am looking forward to trying them. Brad's has some good info/video on their website on how to rig and run them.

I have used them with some sucsess. I just don't have as much time on the water with them as I would like yet. I did find some foam at the local fabric store that was the same as the foam used in the super bait and cut a bunch of extra foam pieces for holding scent goo. Lots easier to pitch the piece of foam after a couple of uses than try and clean it up.

Hey Dawg, I never thought about replacement foam! That's a great idea!
When the foam gets filthy, I've been just throwing it away and packing the cavity with tuna. The canned in oil albacore seems to work best and cohos just hammer the crap out of those things!

A guy on another forum i'm on, used the 4 inch Brads Cut Plug in the Blue Hawaiian color and he kill the black mouth last year. He's got lots of teeth marks on his plug.





Give it try and let use know how you do.

Instead of the foam, I like to use a herring filet in there. I know some guys use tuna as well.
