Where to find late August Coho?

Postby Timm001 » Fri Aug 30, 2013 10:36 am

Hey everybody!

I find myself with some unexpected free time on my hands and I need to know the best places to fish for silvers in areas 8-2 or 9 in late August/early September. I usually fish the shipwreck in early Sept. but the results are not always great. I hear that right out of Edmonds can be a good fishery too but I've never tried it. Seems like the west side of Possession bar makes the most sense this time of year.

What do you guys think?

Hey T,
The west side of Possession is solid on the flood and No Point can put out on the ebb as well.

Also, don't forget the yellow channel marker right between the points mentioned above. Find a rip with birds working and you'll find coho, bro! rockon

The rips or the break in the water I focus on a ton when lookin for coho. If your fishin in front of edmonds/oil docks thats alot of area to fish. I usually zig zag between rips from close in around the docks to far out in the channel until i find them. Once I start hookin fish then I stay around where im hookin them. Same with Poss Bar or Bush. Work the rips man.
