I know Robbo's brother - in -law used to guide there. I'll try to get a name for ya, Robbo's computer is down due to his recent move.

I just talked to him and he's either going to log on tonight with some info or give me a shout and I'll post it. He briefly mentioned that there was some tarpon fishing out of a town that started with a "V". Hope to get some more info soon 8-)

I just received the message you are looking for a light tackle guide in P.R. I guided out of the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo P.R. for three years. It has been a while since i was there but i can tell you they have a very knowledgable group of guides specalizing in light tackle out of the resort. Good Trapon in the 10 - 50 lb range there. Another place to consider if you are able to get away for a full day is the island of Culebra. The guides from the El Conquistador run thier boats there as well and it is outstanding flats / inshore fishing. Bones, Tarpon, Permit and a mix of other small game nearshore. I really dont know the inshore / flats game around San Juan but the guys at the El Conquistador may be able to hook you up with someone in that area even if you are not able to fish with them. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
