New Lamaglas Side Drifting Rods

I just picked up six new rods for the winter steel season. Lamiglas came out with a new fairly affordable Side Drifter called LX 96 MS. Its a 9' 6", 8-12lb rod with a nice quick tip. With these rods being a new model I was wondering if anybody here has tried them? Is 8-12 gonna be heavy enough?

I haven't seen those rods yet Ray but they sound like they're going to work great and at $89 how can you go wrong. 8 to 12 definitely isn't too light for sidedrifting
