Where to Find Coon Shrimp??

where around Seattle/Everett area can a perspective Columbia bound Springer fisher-guy find decent, uncured coon shrimp? seems like most of the places online or in the stores have the pre-cured ones.

The last time I bought coon shrimp I found that at this awesome Asian fish market in downtown Seattle... http://www.uwajimaya.com/.

Listen to the Duane Inglin podcast from last Saturday's show if you haven't do so already
http://theoutdoorline.com/Podcasts/8.aspx

Medium D mentions the fact that any shrimp will work as long as it's the right size. Perhaps M.D. can expound on this a little spy

t dub....There a few options you can try. There are three companies in the Yakima area that sell Coon Shrimp in bulk, Grumpys Outdoor Store 2318 S 1st St, Yakima, WA 98903 509-452-0868 Columbia Basin Bait - (509) 948-3845 - West Richland, WA 99353 ... & Hammers Out Door World (509) 248-3474 4213 Main St. Yakima, WA 98903

All three of these sell in bulk and may or may not deliver. These are good quality Coon Shrimp that are pre-boiled and flash frozen. Be prepared to purchase a 35lb. box. I have been told that they may or may not sell retail, most specalize in whole-sale to guides and other stores. It's worth a phone call.
Another option closer to home; Xtreme NW Baits http://www.xtremenorthwest.com/ at times, Eric has in stock, 20lb. boxes of frozen coon shrimp and I believe is located in or around Vancover Wa.
Coon Shrimp are good for Springers but you can also consider using Artic Prawn, due to their size. At times they can out-produce coon shrimp.
Some options to order for delivery; Great Northern Products, Rhode Island Tel: (401) 821 2400- Fax: (401) 821 2419 and of course Xtreme NW Baits also has them...

Also google Coon Shrimp and Artic Prawn, and as I have stated before, check any and all Asian Fish Markets in your area...
