After the great run of really nice weather the local lakes are more than warmer enough to begin producing fishing.
Yestereday (4/10) Stevens surface temps was in the low/mid 50s. More importantly the top 30 feet of water was also in that low 50 degree range. That same layer of water was consistently 42 degrees less than a week ago.
Now we just need something for the kokanee to eat. For Stevens I guessing that we will see decent fishing in another 10 to 14 days.
American usually comes on before Stevens.
It is almost time to seriously scratch that "itch" - good luck to all.
