Sweet video dudes!!!
The magic DickNite is what was my bro/dad/me used last week to wrestle up the 2 Coho in my fishing report.
I run 4-6' leaders with a peice of pencil lead as my weight, rigged exactly like a fixed drift setup. If I feel bottom, I can lift the tip of my rod up and reel a bit faster as I've never been a fan of the dropper unless plunking the rig out of the back of the boat in current. I like to drift fish it more than anything but throwin the fixed drift setup in "frog water" along wood or structure will keep your weight from being tangled and can be, at time, more effective than a spinner or twitchin' jig. Everyones go-to color for Coho have been of course the 50/50 but the chrome or bronze with chartruese tip has been my number 1 for silvers and sometimes doesn't get bit by the humpies as bad.
Oh and rod choice lately has been my Lamiglas 9'10" ML XMG paired with a Daiwa Procyon 3000, one bad ass setup!!!
Just my .02
I will be back our tmrw with a local fly shop owner to try to swing a few up on the bug sticks and rest of the weeknd with dick nites!!!
