3/0 would be good for 3.5 to 4 spoons. For Coho Killers I'd go 1/0 or 2/0 depending on brand.

Squids I run 3/0 or 4/0 Big River bait hooks from Gami.

A friend of mine wrote up a article on rigging hoochies

Good luck.

Thank you!
I look forward to get out and try this all out!

Don't be shy about running heavy leader (30-40lb) behind all of your flashers.
Since we are trolling, the salmon don't have a bunch of time to look closely so a lighter leader isn't going to do you a lot of good.

Also, get a few packages of Sampo XR4-CB snap swivels, or bead chain swivels and McMahon snaps.
All of your rod & reel combos should be rigged with snap swivels so its just a matter of snapping on a flasher... And you're fishin'!!! cheers

+1 on what nelly said.

I always buy American terminal tackle whenever possible. The second best would be Japan.
You get what you pay for when it comes to hooks, line, and swivels.

Now you gotta get all that gear ready. July is coming fast. :o

Thanks guys for the great information! I have a couple of follow up Q's

What leader lengths do you use for:
Spoons?
Hoochies?

Also,
What downrigger releases do you like to use?
